MURRAY PREPARING FOR FRANCE

ANDY Murray goes into his final preparations for next week’s French Open where he will be hoping to improve on last year’s tournament which saw him reach the quarter-finals. He watched the last grand slam final from prime Wimbledon Tickets.

That marked a career best at Roland Garros for Murray who looked back to somewhere like more usual form in Madrid last week.

While the British number one did eventually lose out 7-5 6-3 to Spain’s David Ferrer at the quarter-final stage in Madrid, he could at take heart from three pretty gutsy performances in the Spanish capital.

Solid straight set wins over Juan Ignacio Chela and Victor Hanescu set the tone for the week and another decent showing against Ferrer – who has excelled on clay of late – can only bode well for next week’s Grand Slam.
