He won the Wimbledon Championship. He managed to win the Silver medal for his country in the men’s tennis singles competition of London Olympics and he also won Cincinnati Open just a few days back. The way Federer is playing at the moment, it would be very tough for any other player to stop the Swiss superstar from winning his sixth US Open title.

Both the players started the match quite well and held their service in the first seven games. Federer was ahead by 4-3 at the end of the seventh game. Federer got a breakpoint in the eighth game and he took advantage of that to get ahead by 5-3 in the set. He wrapped up the set by serving out the next game.
