In the post match interview, the Swiss superstar said, “I am quite satisfied with my performance today. I hit the ball quite decently. The conditions here suit me. Hopefully, I would carry on the good form in the next couple of matches and would qualify for the semis.”

On the other hand, Tipsarevic hailed Federer for his fantastic performance in the match. The Serbian player said, “I think Roger’s versatility was just too much for me. I haven’t had success against him in the previous matches. I was hoping to register victory against him in this match, but, he didn’t give me any chance.
